Henna is a natural dye derived from a plant. Dried henna leaves are ground and made into a paste which can be applied to the skin and will stain it a reddish/brown color. The henna stain should deepen over the first 2-3 days following application and then fade slowly over two to three weeks.
• Leave henna design on as long as possible—preferably 5-6 hours and DO NOT wash it off with water. If you want to remove it, scrape it off with a card or with your fingernail. Keep area warm.
• When showering/washing, cover design with a thin layer of oil to protect it and do not soap/wash area.
